My focus as an artist has evolved into a desire to delve deeper into the exploration of psychology, painterly techniques, and how to apply and combine them with narrative storytelling to connect with an audience.

 

To embrace the ways in which the stylistic representation of my work has evolved, I’ve had to closely examine each of the artistic disciplines I’ve worked within previously, while at the same time acknowledging the psychological fragmentation within my personal life.

 

My thesis will take viewers inside this process of discovering my animus through a blend of music and narrative visual storytelling. I will be showcasing a gallery of finished paintings, drawings, sketches, and a live demonstration that will also collectively form the groundwork for an eventual graphic novel.
